Meet the Staff



Mary Margaret Moore

Mary Margaret Moore, Executive Director

As the Executive Director, Mary Margaret steers the overall direction of the ILCNSCA. She works closely with the Board of Directors and staff to ensure a quality organization. As the leader of the management team she is responsible for finances, funding, public relations, staffing and program development. She was appointed by the Governor and serves on the MRC State Rehabilitation Council. She is an active member of the State Plan for Independent Living Committee of the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC), a Governor appointed oversight body. She is the Region 1 Representative to the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Board.

Kathy O'Brien

Kathy O'Brien, Associate Director

Kathy is responsible for the physical plant and personnel operations of ILCNSCA. She is our resident computer specialist dealing with all networking, database and telecommunication functions. She is in charge of the agency when Mary Margaret is unavailable.

Shawn McDuff

Shawn McDuff, Director of Access and Advocacy

Shawn oversees the access concerns of those with disabilities. He manages the housing modification, durable medical equipment contract and community access issues. He is the Webmaster and distributes all press releases, thereby allowing him to manage the public relations aspects of community advocacy. Shawn also provides Peer Guide services. Shawn is ILCNSCA's Governor appointed Representative for the Statewide Independent Living Council, serving on both the Advocacy Committee and the Finance Committee.

Jillian O'Brien

Jillian O'Brien, Long Term Care Options Coordinator

Jillian coordinates and provide services under our Long Term Options Counseling Program (LTCOP). She provides Information and Referral to individuals seeking resources and support to make choices regarding their long term care options. She is also responsible for Outreach and Community Education to promote the LTCOP program.

Diane Speicher

Diane provides Peer Guide services including Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Development, Peer Counseling, Advocacy, Outreach and Community Education.

Jean Rockett

Jean Rockett, Community Transition Coordinator

As the Community Transition Coordinator, Jean coordinates ILCNSCA services for consumers who would like to transition from institutions to community living. She develops relationships between ILCNSCA staff, ADRC of GNS partners, community and state agencies and institution staff to insure smooth and coordinated consumer controlled placement in community. Jean also provides Peer Guide services.
