Meet the Staff

Mary Margaret Moore, Executive Director

As the Executive Director, Mary Margaret steers the overall direction of the ILCNSCA. She works closely with the Board of Directors and staff to ensure a quality organization. As the leader of the management team she is responsible for finances, funding, public relations, staffing and program development. She was appointed by the Governor and serves on the MRC State Rehabilitation Council. She is an active member of the State Plan for Independent Living Committee of the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC), a Governor appointed oversight body. She is the Region 1 Representative to the National Council on Independent Living (NCIL) Board.

Shawn McDuff, Deputy Director

Deputy Director Shawn McDuff has been with the agency for 20+ years. He is a key leader in the ILCNSCA as well as the Independent Living movement statewide and nationally. He manages the core direct services as well as community services of the Agency, and is a vital member of the Management Team. His expertise is shared with ILCNSCA staff, consumers, providers on the following: housing modification, durable medical equipment contract and community access issues. He supervises distribution of our marketing materials via Web and Press, as well as the public relations aspects of community advocacy. Shawn also provides Peer Guide services and is the creator and manager of the All People Accessible Business Project as well as the Community Access Advocacy Team.

Jean Rockett, Director of Options and Transition

Jean Rockett is the Director of Options and Transition for ILCNSCA. She provides leadership for the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium of the Greater North Shore (ADRCGNS), represents ILCNSCA in the Community regarding the ADRCGNS, the Options program, and manages the ILCNSCA connections to community providers. She coordinates ILCNSCA services related to transition from nursing homes and shelters to community living, as well as is a key member of the Management Team. She also provides Peer Guide services and is the link between ILCNSCA to the Northeast Independent Living Program for the North East Recovery Learning Community.

Lisa Rose, Community Education and Outreach Assistant

Lisa assists with marketing of ILCNSCA's services and programs to underserved populations through the oversight and provision of Community Education and Outreach Services as well as through networking in the community. She also provides Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Development, Peer Counseling, and Advocacy to a limited caseload of consumers who represent un-served and underserved populations.

Jaime Pelletier, ILCNSCA ADRC of GNS Options Program Peer Guide

Jaime provides services as part of the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium of the Greater North Shore Options Program as well as provides services under our Independent Living Center Program. She is our Options Program Peer Guide who assists with the problem-solving by older adults and persons with disabilities of all ages to understand the type and range of community-based long term care supports available to them beyond skilled nursing facility care. As an ILC Peer Guide, she provides individual and community services to advance our civil rights/disability rights mission. Overall she is educating the community at large on independent living, civil rights, and advocacy.

Grant Murphy, Independent Living Information and Referral Specialist

Grant provides coordination of agency information and referral resources to callers and assists agency staff and volunteers in learning about those resources for their sharing with callers. He also provides updates on referral resources to our web page,www.ilcnsca.org, and provides independent living individual and community services.
